This is great, inthe short run anyway...
Long-run won't matter. Thin-clients will reduce/eliminate the need for techies, who often answer users' questions, of which there are MANY.

The helpdesk is never taken seriously. Neither are techies. Disposable people.

It's all about money, of course...

So when there aren't enough techies around and the users not sure what to go do with their web-based app's controls... or if a hacker breaks in... or if the WAN connection fails (which seems to happen often, I gather)...

It's almost funny.
