....don't get your hopes up thinking you'll be able to run OSX on your home-grown Intel or AMD-based system. From what I had read about this, Apple still plans on having some proprietary measures in place on their systems that will make doing so impossible. In other words, this doesn't mean that they're licensing the Mac OS to run on Intel-compatible platforms. It just means that there will be Intel-based Apple systems. For the rest of us, that means we're sticking with Linux for a secure OS alternative. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

My only question for Mr. Jobs is, if he supposedly supports the open source software community's efforts, why is there still not a Linux-native version of Quicktime?
