And if Linux ever reaches the percentage of computers currently running windoze, there will be greater numbers of attacks against linux.

Is it profitable to design adware to run on linux systems? Not really, since they are such a small segment of the total numbers, AND since they are the most computer literate, the most likely to detect and remove the cr@p.
