Too Complicated
As long as the customer needs to walk around to each computer on his wireless network and enter some long cryptic hex key, wireless security is never going to become widespread.
Frankly, the necessity of encrypting wireless communications in dubious. Anything important (i.e. credit card info) is already encrypted via SSL. Encrypting everything that goes over a wireless network just adds overhead.
Here at Dartmouth we have campus-wide wireless (which I'm currently using) and the fact that it's totally unencrypted hasn't raised any real issues. Yes, you can sniff people's facebook passwords and change their picture to something obnoxious, but who really cares?
