Always keep your virus software updated with the latest definitions but in addition to that try the Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta 1. I think you will like it. It is currently free but be sure to configure it for automatic updates. Additionally, keep your Microsoft patches updated and your firewall on. Furthermore there are other very good programs to help keep adware and spyware at a distance. Try "SpywareBlaster" witch stops certain infections from getting in then put in another program called "Spybot - Search & destroy 1.3" It is an excellent scan program that is free with the option to donate if you like it. Keep all the definitions updated to keep ahead of the threats. "Trojan Remover 1.4.0" for a small price is another possibility. It adds new definitions almost daily. All these programs are available on-line. Google will locate the proper sites in two second. Be well protected but beware of some copycat programs.
