Zombies..Who Cares
Reading the different threads it seems that either the user is to blame or the operating system. I started with the bulletin boards and also with the first version of Netscape. It was fun then. BUT users don't want to nor should they have to be concerned about their data. WHY..
Because E-commerce people such as Ebay want to get rich off the net. Compromised machines will cause folks to stop using the I-net. I run Win and Linux and NEVER do any banking over the net anymore. I rarely if ever buy over the internet for security reasons.
I run Norton, Adaware and Earthlink detectors and if I had to do similar maintenance to my car OR my phone out they would go! Zombies & other security risks could be the death of VOIP, & other e commerce. It could be fun to browse the net again.
