You see the problem is not what the citizens are doing here at home...

Noone is looking for the right to pirate movies, if your definition includes only people who physically reproduce them and offer them for profit. I have a serious problem with the department of homeland security confiscating servers and arresting a few americans who were hosting movies and songs and trying to link it to terrorism somehow. It is absolutely rediculous.

Where is china's department of homeland security? Where is russia's? Where was ours 10 years ago, when I felt just as safe as I do now. Are we in more danger now than then, and if so, why? Does the world hate us so much that we need another department to observe everything we(citizens) do and decide if it is ok or not. Lets face it, they are abusing power.

Listen I live in NY, I passed by the towers all the time, I saw the smoke plumes for weeks. I didn't become filled with fear over it hoping that the government would come and save poor little me. I was more angry that we have become so hated in the world that someone would be motivated to do that to innocent people. It doesn't matter that they were extremists, because extremists come from areas that hate us....so there will be more.

If you threw a rock through my window, I would rather find out why and fix the relationship rather than get thicker windows. I just think maybe a department of world relations would be better, but uh.....the president is supposed to do that....and they hate him.....so.....

So if we keep going the way were going we should just erect a giant dome over the united states with only a few doors and rfid readers. Then it won't matter, we can piss off the whole world and sit in our shell.....well until someone finds anther way to attack us. You say we won't have any sunlight in our shell? Well you should just get used to living without sunshine from now on. It was an overated pleasure anyway. Enjoy your "safety".

You see the problem is not what the citizens are doing here at home...it is our realtionship outside the borders that brings hate to our doorstep. Homeland defense.......... it's a joke.
