Not all of us...
This, from the Wired article, says it all:

""It's like condemning people for driving too fast after selling them cars that go 250 kmh.""

Just because your car can go 120mph, doesn't mean you're absolved from speeding. Just because your application can download illegal content doesn't mean you aren't responsible. If you doubt that, pretend the mp3 is a kiddy porn picture.

Prohibition was a victimless crime. Whether or not you sympathize with them, there are victims when copyrights are infringed upon. The solution is to change the laws, not break them. If you suspect that your elected officials have the **AA's best interest at heart instead of yours, vote for their opponent next time. If you think things have gotten that bad in the US, maybe it's time to consider whether you want to continue subjecting yourself to its laws and way of life. Freedom means choice, which you have. It does not mean you may recklessly break the law and balk at the penalty.

I know the article was about France, but the US is facing similar issues, and there are several people on this forum that feel downloading music via file sharing is justified, just because they don't like the people from whom they are stealing.
