Another options is:
It could be inside information, but it's likely not. It could be from someone who used to work for the company and is out to get the company for firing them, which is not considered "inside information," even though that person once worked on the inside.

Also, what about the companies making the anti-virus, spamware, malware programs? Don't you think they have a vested interest in creating this stuff so we buy more of the stuff to get rid of it? That is as illegal as insider trading is to the stockmarket.

Who do we go to so we can get this stuff fixed then?
