It was a witch hunt

On behalf of my friend, Ari, who was the unfortunite victim of
this witch hunt, I am writing to add a little clarity to this topic.
He was found guilty of asking to take nude pictures of a child.

To start with yes PGP was on his computer. There was however
no encrypted files found. But, really there was one entitled
finances. I find it interesting that with the Encase program the
one encrypted file was overlooked. I guess a 10 meg file with
tax and finance information didn't look ominous enough. There
was not pornography on his computer of any type. There was
spam. His email address was 11 years old and he had his own
domain name which lent itself to an overwhelming amount of
spam. Most of which was filtered out and he never saw.

In the judges ruling he stated that the strongest piece of
evidence against him was the sadness in the nine year old's
eyes. Yet this child has been seeing a therapist since she was 3.
And she admitted to lying to the police investigator during the
police investigation.

He was an elementary school teacher for 10 years without a
single blemish on his record. My friend was asked to take a
polygraph test where he was asked he did what he was accused
of and he said "no" and passed the test. The judicial system is
broken. Be careful it could easily happen to you.
