No, to secure a computer you need to....
Remove any network adapters or modems, remove the serial port, remove the monitor and graphics card so no one can view any information. Remove the keyboard so no one can hack it. Wait, that won't work either. Securing a computer is like trying to keep a secret by climbing on top of townhall with a megaphone and yelling it. Your best luck is to encrypt everything.
