Our security guys said it was 20x more secure..
I hired several top-Top-TOP CISSP engineers last year and they performed study after study on this. The studies were unbiased and were funded by my rep. In these studies, these CISSP/MCSE's stated "Windows XP SP2 is 20x more secure than XP SP1". My rep and I then added "In addition, our ROI has been 5612% and our TCO has decreased 1122% as a result of XP SP2". My rep and I made the business and technical case to our board of directors then hit the bar to celebrate. The complete silence in the room after we spoke meant we knew we struck a nerve.
