securing the written password
I agree on the issue of "where". You don't leave your major credit cards lying around, so keep your list with your credit cards, and out it away after use. The nature of the password is also an issue. NEVER use any word(s) or name(s) found in the dictionary (including foreign words in major use (chutzpah, etc.) I recommend the first letter (or number equivalent) of faorite phrases such as "Tw0jiMmChso" (There was no joy in Mudville, mighty Casey had struck out.) Let's see a dictionary user crack that one, particularly if the written version is in my wallet under my "tush".
