A slightly better Idea...
Basic passwords for things you don't care about - like a linix install on a computer you are selling - '123456' - the new owner can change it.
But you need something better so...

I've gotten to the point of using element names from the periodic table now, if you need to write something down, just scribble the atomic number on a piece of scrap paper near the monitor.

I said it was only slightly better....
