Back in the pre OSX days the vast majority of vri/worms
on thte Apple side attacked MS products such as Word or Office
in general. Seems that writing a MACRO viri for Office was
simple enough and probably (this I'm not sure of) killed two
birds with one coding Mac and PC.

Yes you might have a case where obscurity late helped OS9
seems that viri problems disapeared for OS9 near the end of it's
lifetime.

However it would the the hight of foolishness to assume that
OSX is going to have anywhere near the problems that Windows
has had over the years. Yes she will have SOME issues for all
OS's are flawed. However I would bet YOUR life and that of Peter
's that OSX is based on a BETTER core and designed with
SECURITY in mind (where according to MS herself Windows was
NOT) that in the end when all is said and done OSX and Linux
will have proven someday in the future to be far more secure in
general than Windows.
