Absolutely!

You are very much correct AKN3t4dmin, that is the only reason Microsoft holds that share of the market. That is what is typically called "marketing"... build the easiest operating system in the world to use, so that any one that can count their toes can run a computer, and computer companies will load it to their hard drives so they that they can sell computers to anyone. And, if you package the browser with that, then your browser becomes very popular as well. Personally I don't think Microsoft is wrong for making sound business decisions in that respect. I think it was a stroke of marketing genius, that everyone else wishes they had figured out!

Obviously just giving a browser away doesn't make you number or Netscape and Firefox might offer MS some competition in the Browser market. And, let's face it, 10% combined share of the market, just really isn't competition, is it!!

Personally, I really don't see rebooting after an update occasionally as much of a challenge as having remove a program and/or reinstall it to update it weeekly. Or, as is now the case daily!

Although I must admit Firefox is getting better!!! I don't have to reinstall everything to update anymore! Right now, I wish I could remove it and reinstall it, unfortunately with the installtion of 1.0.2 it wigged out, and hasn't worked on my primary computer since.

I've used Firefox since 0.2 as well AKN3t4dmin, and aside from the built in web design tools, I don't find it superior in any way, and there are malware and virus programs out there targeted at Firefox and Netscape as well. There just aren't as many, because they aren't as big IE!
