Let's think about that for a minute. IE should
be a mature, stable, and thoroughly tested and
secure product after 10 years. But it is not!
How can you compare Firefox's four flaws at less
than a year old with the sometimes daily list
which we still get for IE? As I have posted
elsewhere in this thread, show me the systems
compromised due to Firefox.

That is such a tired argument and totally
discounts the fact of the very large presence
open source has on the internet in Linux/BSD
servers running Apache. They are a very large
target indeed, with very few if any substantial
hits. If there had been successful hits, you
would have definitely heard about. It is curious
that quickly fixed potential vulnerabilities in
open source software seem to draw more ink than
long standing realized vulnerabilities in
propriety software. Kind of makes one wonder.
