Few hundred? You should research your statment before you bash kiddo. Fact is on the exact same hardware I would take my Optimized Linux over my XP install 90% of the time, and dont give me i tried redhat crap because in my opinion redhat is NOT Linux. By the time Longhorn is reality the windows kernel wont even be comparable to the Linux kernel.

Lets put it this way try to compile a program in XP while browsing the web and listening to mp3's I dare you.

Look at the scoreboard a BSOD! Doh.
