Ok, type 2 must be what BitTwiddler has been inudated with. He's obviously loaded his computers up with spyware. happy Somehow, I managed to avoid acquiring software like that. Maybe I'm just lucky, but none of my software installations (And I have alot of them) require contact with the supplier for installation.

Type two, I'm told, also applies to Windows XP. It's my understanding that it is not (supposed to be) possible to install it on more than one computer. (Though I have a couple of friends that tell me they did anyway) That and other factors is why I'm sticking with Windows 2000Pro.

As far as spyware is concerned, I have a good firewall.. nothing on my computers gets out without my permission.
