Kind of a bland statement there

I would take that statement a bit further though. I would say the ideal should be "A flaw was found, they issued a timely fix". There have been times when the fixes have not been timely ones, and in those cases some scrutiny is deserved. Unfortunately this article does not disclose when the flaw was found, so we can't determine whether this was timely or not.

My only real gripe remaining with MS updates is the frequency in which a reboot is required. I mean if this is a Windows Explorer problem (or I suppose since it is HTML related it is undirectly an IE problem), why do I need a full reboot? Wouldn't restarting the shell be sufficient? Or is HTML rendering really THAT tied into the kernel?
