I agree..! but here's some info..
I was getting a composite manager error after one of the KDE3 library upgrades.. I had to edit my xorg.conf.. it actually told me how to fix it in the error message.. LOL.. Microsoft would never make it that easy..! happy

You should only have to worry if you're using a high-end card..
