And there you have it

"The process has led to some illuminating results. One hearing disclosed police invoked the Patriot Act 108 times in a 22-month period when surreptitiously entering and searching a home or office without notifying the owner."

This should be FRIGHTENING to EVERY American. This is TOTALLY unacceptable behavior on the part of any agency. Period. And do you know how many "terrorists" they've rounded up in their whole sneaky sting operations: ZERO. You want to know how I know this? Because if they did catch some big fish, you could be damn sure that everyone would hear about it 'til the end of time on commercial news everywhere. They would do that to reassure us that these actions are needed and are proof that their behavior really does deter terroristic or other types of violent crime. And it would encourage even further bold abuse of these newfound powers for future illegal secret federal random break-ins. And the process will precipitate on, and people overall will become more conditioned (brainwashed) to accept having their personal space being trampled on at a moment's notice.
And take note: ALL of these new powers being granted all these federal agencies were only made possible by the biggest terrorist crime on American soil. Most all of the evidence, especially the leftover WTC steel, probably the most precious pieces of forensic evidence in the whole crime, was immediately destroyed without being properly processed, preserved, and inspected, a felony in itself, and ONLY government officials could have greenlighted that destruction of important evidence. Realize that as you reach for your "REAL ID" card.
The "hijackers", none of which showed up on ANY of the four flight lists of the doomed planes, trained at federal aviation facilities. Think the feds really didn't know? And seven of those that were framed have been proven to be alive. Chalk up these facts when you cheer on "your" senators to renew the anti-"Patriot" Act.
And what's wih the recent puff pieces, such as the recent Popular Mechanics piece, if the "official" story is sooo solid? Surely mere facts can stand up on their own, no? The fact that a misinformation junket is served up on the menu should clue us in that they realize that their bullsh*t story is not working as well as they planned (the poor arrogant fools, so greedy that they can't really help themselves). If the accusations against them were so far flung and blatantly innacurate even to dull eyes, why would they bother going to the trouble to try to refute them? These are the kinds of questions that people should be asking themselves, if they are suddenly wondering how we wound up on this slippery slope towards enslaved fascist doom..
