Open source and pay
"""No one to pay!! Free Operating Systems and programs that are of course more secure than closed source operating systems and programs!"""

Open source is not more secure than closed source. If you check for problems you will see that open source has problems that could allow problems to sneak in.

"""The whole idea is you DON'T have to pay! Why pay? That's one of the benefits of open source Linux....unless you are weak and have to pay Novell or someone for support. Public domain licensing.....all the way."""

Why not? Why should anyone have to work for free if they don't want to? Do you work and get paid for what you do? If so what makes what you different from what programmers do? If not how do you pay your bills?

"""I think all the open source guys are right, I mean why pay programmers to work? We need to demand in future software that they are all done as projects and with the public license and access to the source code so we can even change it."""

While this would not stop the developement of new software it would slow it down. A lot of people who now are paid by their companies to do open source developement would no longer do it. People who write software and release it under some form of open source license but for a fee would no longer be able to do it.

So what do you suggest they do so that they can make money while they write stuff for free because you don't want to pay for it?
