Linux isn't exactly innocent
As a Linux system admin, I read logs every morning seeing attempted attacks on my servers. Most often, these attacks are launched from Linux zombie servers that were not locked down properly.

Anyone with any server, be it Linux, Windows, or Mac, on the internet, needs to take security seriously.
