The Big Picture
Well a web server is just one kind of computer application, but as a whole Windows is the most popular OS and since all variations are similar it would be safe to say that over 80% of the worlds computers use a MS OS. So why attack the others when you can do the most damage with the most popular and its variations. Like I mentioned in my previous post, scammers, spammers, whatever you want to call them will hit where it hurts the most. Terrorists do the same thing. Hitting Fort Knox would be less damage than if they hit the world trade centers, that is why they did it. Sorry to bring that up, but I am trying to prove a point. Yes they also hit where the least educated users are too. There are plenty of documents and free utilities that are out there to help protect a user be it a server or a personal computer. So the fact that you narrowed down to one type of computer application that uses a MS OS shows that you are missing the big picture and the reason why these people attack microsoft. Oh and your link that you sent does not work.
