If this ever becomes a problem with Linux ...
The first news that appears that suggests that Linux systems are being infected by visiting websites will get a fast response from me. I will immediately set up a seperate user account from which to do my banking. But shame on the Linux users who are pinning this whole problem on Microsoft. The fact is the people who are doing these things are criminals and they are a threat to all of us, regardless of which OS we use. Perhaps it is past time that website operators be registered with the authorities. It should be telling us something when we realize that most of this criminal activity is based right here in the good old USA. And we are always blaming China.
