Here's a question ...
When it comes to phishing, who's actually running these websites? Seems to me that if you get an email and it points you to some bogus phishing site, it would take authorities about 5 minutes to find out who the owners are. So, why don't they arrest them?

Along the same lines, I would imagine that these keyloggers send info to a Hotmail address or something .. so why not have MS produce a log of IP addresses of anyone who accesses that email account, unless they are using zombie machines?

IMHO, besides the above, me thinks a lot of these issues could be solved if ISPs would pay a little more attention to what is going on on their own networks.
