False info helps no one.
Spouting such crap as there not being any Linux viruses helps no one. All it takes is 15 seconds on Google to prove you wrong.

If you want to convince people that there are better alternatives to Windows, start by telling the truth. Virus and spyware authors could hit Mac/Linux systems if they wanted to. They just don't bother because the market share isn't there yet. The point of the article is to expose the spyware authors and shut them down. Promoting a different OS just shifts their target.
