He he he: the anti-s/w engineering monster (TM) owned by MS
``And, Sober.P, first detected on Monday, now accounts for 77 percent of all viruses detected by Sophos's threat-monitoring stations worldwide, the British security company said on Tuesday.''

TOP performers: MS 'owns' 95% of the desktops and 'Sober.P' 77% of them. I wonder which virus owns the other 23% of the desktops....

``At the same time, Kaspersky Lab, a Russian maker of antivirus software designed to combat such threats, described the worm's spread in Western Europe as an "epidemic."

"This is a pretty significant virus. We usually don't see it spread to 77 percent of all inbound viruses," Gregg Mastoras, a senior security analyst at Sophos, said. "Usually, it spreads much slower, and users have time to update their computers."''
What? But, aren't all these service packs the security patches, the anti-virus s/w and the s/w firewalls supposed to make this massive virus/worm spreading a thing of the past?

I.E., when the OS has the failure built-in and by dsign, NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING CAN CORRECT the situation.

Apparently, the MS platform is SO TERRIBLY designed and implemented that it CAN RESIST VERY INTELLIGENTLY ALL EXTERNAL EFFORTS for correction! It is like an intelligent monster of sloppiness that can defend AGAINST the principles of proper code design and development!!! It is like the anti-s/w engineering, anti-common sense monster.... This is truely remarkable.

YES, at last MS TRUELY INNOVATED!!! It is the first time ever that something so horribly BAD has been ever put together.

It reminds me of 'Godzilla' the monster that was born out of the industrial waste in Japan...
