So XP is OS perfection?

"if linux or osx were truly mainstream the hackers would
have their sights set on those current niche os's"

Maybe so, but does that mean they'd be as successful? Is
there nothing in the *nix based OSes and their web-
browsers that can prevent this spyware onslaught on
windows and IE?

Why is it that MS is investing billions in Longhorn, when
they could simply point to XP as the holy grails of OSes;-)
