Common Sense, in users.
There are a few of us in the community that go around and assist the retirees. One of the common problems, is that they believe since it is a computer, it will do all those updates automatically...after all it IS a computer... and computers in cars do things automatically.

There are some friends that don't take the time to do the updates too. They're usually the ones that call at 3 or 4 o'clock in the morning, crying and whining over their machines...they couldn't sleep, flipped on the computer and now it's sock full of germs.

Sure, I'll help them; but I also dig and find out when the machine is generally on, then setup their scheduler to do the tasks "they're too busy to do".

It's cut down my night-time calls to 2 or 3 a week...whew!
