If that were true, then wouldn't it be safe to assume that the Apache web server would be attacked more and have more vulnerabilities than Microsoft's IIS? Apache IS the majority here. So, IIS would be the safer choice, correct?

Not true.

IIS suffers from more vulerabilities and exploits than Apache, at the rate of about one to two per month.

Doesn't that kinda blow your "but it's the majority!" statement out of the water?

And about your "they won't attack their own kind" schpeel... that's a huge load there. Windows users attack other Windows users, *nix users attack other *nix users. Windows just happens to be easier to exploit, no two ways about it.
