how is it different to...
OK, so theres an argument that these spyware makers should get X amount of jail time, and X amount of fines for what they are doing, ie reading material on a users PC without asking.

Some say its like break and enter.

So how is this different from the browser reading settings on your machine to self optimise itself?

One could also argue that by simply using a bowser, the very nature of how it works allows an external view \ use of your own hard drive material.

Will we see penalties for the usage of cookies now???
